Same Same! Anushka Sharma's wedding jewellery has a Deepika Padukone connection; Guess what?

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli's much talked about wedding has a direct connection with Deepika Padukone. But what?
Well, Deepika attended Jio Filmfare Awards in October recently and her ethnic style was much appreciated at the red carpet. Wearing an embroidered Sabyasachi sari with a long trail behind her, she wore a pair of golden jhumkas that completed her look.

And oh boy! Anushka is wearing the exact same jhumka for her wedding. Well, thanks to Sabyasachi.
Well, both the ladies rocked the jhumka in their own way.
Virat and Anushka got married at a private ceremony in Italy on Monday. The wedding was attended by close family and a few friends as they wished their wedding to be a very private affair. The wedding was performed as per Hindu rituals. Top fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has designed the wedding ensemble for both the bride and the groom. Virat and Anushka will now start inviting all industry friends and colleagues for more celebrations in Mumbai.

The couple said in a joint statement, "Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share this wonderful news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans and well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey."
The couple will be hosting a reception in New Delhi for their relatives on December 21 which will be followed by a reception for industry friends and cricketers in Mumbai on December 26.
Since last night #VirushkaWedding, #Virushkakishaadi and much more is trending on social media. Their pictures and videos are breaking the Internet.

Ukraine crisis: Exchange of hundreds of prisoners takes place

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko attends a ceremony to welcome prisoners of war (POWs), released after the exchange with pro-Russian separatists, upon their arrival at an airport in Kharkiv, Ukraine December 27, 2017. (Source: Reuters)  Ukraine and separatist rebels in the east of the country have exchanged hundreds of prisoners, in one of the biggest swaps since the conflict began in 2014. Around 230 people were sent to rebel-held areas in return for 74 prisoners who had been held by pro-Russia rebels in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, BBC reported on Wednesday. It was the first swap in 15 months. The release and exchange of prisoners was one of the points in the Minsk peace agreement, signed in 2015. The deal has stalled since and analysts say the swap does not signify wider progress. Both sides continue to hold other prisoners. The number of prisoners swapped was lower than initially announced after dozens of people who were meant to be returned to rebel-held terr...
